Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Friday, March 19, 1999. George Russell Cress, of Huron Woods, RR 2, Grand Bend, formerly of Kitchener, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of H. Berneice (Atkinson) Cress: loved father and father-in-law of Isabel and Steven Ileckenhofer of Kitchener; loving grandpa of Kimberley and Richard Helm of Waterloo and Shawn Heckenhofer of Kitchener. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mary Lou Bartlett of Kitchener, Philip and Jackie Cress, of Cambridge, Doris Cress of Ayr and Lorna Cress of Kakabeka Falls, Ont., loved by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brothers, Donald Cress, Robert Cress and sisters, Grace Baird, Jean Kargus and Mildred Hannansch. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwnod (1-519-237-3532) with visitation this evening (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m.. Sunday 2-4 and 7.9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 22, 1999 at 1: 30 p.m. The Rev. Robert Putman officiating. Interment Elora Cemetery.
