MARTIN, Elmer S. On Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in his 87th year, at Countryview Retirement Home. Husband of the late Elmeda (1999). Father of Lloyd and Naomi Martin of RR 2, Wallenstein, Ella and Orlan Martin of RR 2, Drayton, Cleason and Erma Martin, Loreen and Amos Metzger, all of RR 2, Wallenstein, Emma and Murray Horst of RR 2, Teeswater, Oscar and Florence Martin of RR 2, Wallenstein. Also survived by 39 grandchildren and 94 great-grandchildren. Brother of Edgar and Rebecca Martin, Eldon and Beatrice Martin, Leonard and Eileen Martin, Ella Shantz, Verna and Rufus Gingrich, Elsie and Laverne Weber, and one sister-in-law Wilma Martin. Predeceased by his parents Alvin B. and Elizabeth (Steckley) Martin, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother Alvin, and two sisters Irene (Sidney) Martin and Alice (Aden) Martin. Visitation at the home of Lloyd Martin, RR 2, Wallenstein on Thursday (today) from 2-8 p.m. where family service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 9 a.m. then to Olivet Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira.
