Mrs. Andrew Ingold

Mrs. Andrew Ingold of 62 Woodward Ave., Kitchener, formerly of New Hamburg, died at St. Mary's Hospital, on Tuesday of last week at the age of 87.

The former Bertha Lachmann, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Lachmann. She was born in Wilmot Township Oct. 31, 1882. She lived in New Hamburg for most of her life. For the past 12 years she lived with her granddaughter, Mrs. Russel Schenk, in Kitchener. She was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg. Her husband predeceased her.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Adolph (Stella) Bartel of Kitchener, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, one daughter, four brothers, and one sister.

Funeral service was held Friday at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home, Rev. J.B. Moore of Zion United Church officiating.

Burial took place in Riverside cemetery.

Irvin Ingold was involved in a Jeep accident while training in England, contracted tuberculosis while in hospital and returned to Canada to die. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery.
