    ROTH, Alma - Peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2004, Alma Roth at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg. She was born in New Hamburg 96 years ago a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Veronica (Baechler) Bender. Alma was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden where she had taught Sunday School and had been a member and treasurer of The Mennonite Women. Alma had attended the Kitchener market for many years and enjoyed gardening as her hobby. Beloved wife of Solomon N. Roth who predeceased her January 14, 1994. Loving mother of Mildred V. Roth, Jean Schultz, L. Samuel and Mildred A. Roth, all of New Hamburg, Anna and Albert Maschke of RR2, Mitchell, Elmer and Leola Roth of Baden, Gordon and Carol Roth of New Hamburg, Ruth and Bruce Steinmann of Wellesley; special grandmother of Paul Shultz, Valerie Schultz, Andrew Roth and Jennifer Helmuth, Barbara Maschke, Ryan and Sara Roth, Ronald and Amanda Roth, Marilyn Roth, Michael and Gail Roth, Rachelle and Rob McLean, Candace Steinmann and her friend Phil Ramer, Christopher Steinmann and Sara Steinmann. Also remembered by 10 great-grandchildren. Alma was predeceased by a son-in-law, Harold Schultz (1969) and a sister Matilda (Tilla) Bender (1979). Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30 p.m. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrous Society, Canadian National Institute for the Blind or Steinmann Mennonite Church.

    ROTH, Elmer Stanley Passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at his residence in Baden after a brief illness with bile duct cancer. He was born 67 years ago in New Hamburg and was the son of the late Solomon N. and Alma (Bender) Roth. Beloved husband of Leola (Gingerich) Roth whom he married July 20, 1968. Loving father of Ryan and wife Sara Roth of New Hamburg, Ron Roth of Baden and Marilyn Roth of London, England. Sadly missed by his grandsons Owen, Adam, Isaac and Nate. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mildred Roth, Jean Schultz, L. Samuel and wife Mildred Roth, Gordon and wife Carol Roth all of New Hamburg, Anna and husband Albert Maschke of R.R. # 2 Mitchell, Ruth and husband Bruce Steinmann of Wellesley, Elroy and wife Hilda Gingerich of New Hamburg, Harold and wife Reta Gingerich of Baden, Irene and husband Alvin Schultz of Milverton and Viola and husband Jock MacGillivray of Ferndale, WA, U.S.A. Missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Elmer was predeceased by a brother-in-law Harold Schultz. Elmer was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden.     SCHULTZ, Jean Passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Jean resided at Nithview Community, New Hamburg. She was born 76 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the daughter of the late Solomon N. and Alma (Bender) Roth.

    Beloved wife of the late Harold Schultz who predeceased her in 1969. Loving mother of Paul Schultz of Newfoundland and the late Valerie Schultz (2011) and Paul Lucas of Kitchener. Missed by her grandchildren Joshua and Julieann. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mildred Roth, L. Sam and wife Mildred Roth all of New Hamburg, Anna and husband Albert Maschke of R.R. # 1 Mitchell, Leola Roth of Baden, Gordon and wife Carol Roth of New Hamburg and Ruth and husband Bruce Steinmann of Wellesley, Doreen and husband Merlin Kropf, Marilyn and husband John Schuller, Arleen and husband Paul Meyer, Dennis Schultz and Joan and husband Larry Kieswetter.     Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery, Baden. The funeral service will then take place at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Waterloo, with Pastor Robert Snell officiating.

    SCHULTZ, Valerie Ann Passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Valerie resided in Kitchener and was formerly of New Hamburg. She was born 44 years ago in Kitchener.

    Sadly missed by her special friend of 17 years, Paul Lucas. Beloved daughter of Jean (Roth) Schultz of New Hamburg and the late Harold Schultz.

    Remembered by her brother Paul Schultz of Newfoundland, her nephew Joshua and niece Julianne. Also missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Valerie was predeceased by her grandparents Solomon and Alma Roth and Eric and Vera Schulz. Valerie fought a courageous fight against Cystic Fibrosis and never complained.

    Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ilene Bergen officiating.
