    Notes:

    Mae Margaret Schildroth (nee Binkle) died suddenly from natural causes on June 8, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener. She died peacefully, with her family at her side.

    Mae was born in Hanover, Ontario in 1919. Soon afterwards, her family moved to Kitchener.

    Mae married Lester John Schildroth in 1941, and they were together until his death in 2006. They were married for 65 years.
    For most of her adult life, Mae was an active member of Zion United Church and served as a member of the Women's Auxiliary. She also taught Junior Sunday School for many years.

    In addition to her church involvements, Mae served as a volunteer at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital as well as at the Rockway Senior Centre.

    After her children had grown up, Mae took a sales position at Ostrander's Jewellers in Kitchener, where she worked for many years. During this period, she received her certification as a gemologist.

    She is predeceased by her husband, Lester John Schildroth; son, John William Schildroth; father, Charles Binkle; mother, Christine Elizabeth Binkle; brothers, Bernard, Norman and Gerald; and sisters, Janice, Lola and Della.

    Brenda Haskins Obituary

    Passed away after a lengthy illness, on the morning of December 9, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in her 65th year. Predeceased by her father, Norman Binkle (1989). She will be missed by her husband Brian, sons Derek and Sean (Susan), and daughter Jennifer. Survived by four grandchildren; Brody Benton-Haskins, Lucas Carter, Liam Haskins and Avary Haskins, her mother Leona Binkle and silbings; Charles (Sherri), Barry, Beverly Swiech (Gary), Tom, Heather Binkle (David Heeney) and Margaret "Peggy" Binkle (Markus Bussmann). Will be remembered by her in-laws; Cheryl Kline (Barry), Mark Haskins (Anita), Janice Primeau (Ken), Kevin Haskins, Sandra Haskins-Wood and many nieces and nephews. She was employed with Loblaws for over 40 years, beginning at Zehrs Stanley Park and moving through several positions at the head office in Cambridge and Brampton. Brenda's family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Visitation will continue from 12 to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. Those wishing to attend Brenda's visitation and service must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467. As per Brenda's wishes, all attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend. For those unable to attend, Brenda's service may be viewed via livestream at https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming/ As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
