Amos S. Weber, son of Joseph and Veronica (Shantz) Weber, was born April 10th, 1857. On November 1st, 1881, he was married to Maria, daughter of Abraham and Mary (Eby) Groff. She was born March 25th, 1861. They reside on the old "O'Lone Farm" at Centreville, three miles south-east of Berlin. Their family consists of four children, namely: VII Milton, born September 20th, 1885, VII Emma, born August 9th, 1888, VII Mary, born February 15th, 1891, and died August 22nd, 1893, and VII Clara, born January 26th, 1894."

Mrs. Norman Baer, 76, of the Fairview Mennonite Home, Preston, died today at Coutts Pavilion after a lengthy illness. The former Emma Weber, she was born in Kitchener Aug. 9, 1888 and was a d/o the late Mrs./Mrs. Amos Weber. She had lived in the Twin City area for many years and was a member of Mannheim Mennonite Church and a member of the Mission Circle of the church. She is survived by her husband; a son Willis E. of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Reita) Spracklin of Kitchener and Mrs. Ivan (Ethel) Metz of Port Credit; a sister Mrs. Sylvester (Clara) Hofstetter of Kitchener, and 3 grandchildren. Passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday October 27, 2014 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Loving mother of Julie Keller. Devoted grandmother of Tim (Brenda), Chris (Suzanne) and David (Sheryl), great grandmother of Tyler, Matthew, Jackson, Jamie, Isabella and Lily and great great grandmother of Savannah. Dear sister of Lila MacMillan and the late Delford Hofstetter. Loving aunt of Shelley, Beth and Scott. Marjorie was a switchboard operator with Kitchener City Hall for 26 years. She was a longtime member of Zion United Church, who enjoyed quilting at Rockway Senior Centre, being a school volunteer and travelling. She enjoyed her later years at Beechwood Manor, where she resided for many years.
A Private Family Service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Doctors Without Borders or Operation Smile would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
