WIESE, Karl - At St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, Nov. 28, 1980, as the result of a heart attack, aged 83 years, Karl Wiese of 63 Morrison Rd., Kitchener.

A member of Bethel Lutheran Church. He farmed his lifetime in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

Son of the late Adolf Wiese and Louisa Hoffmann. Husband of the former Augusta Schmidt, father of Wilfred of Cambridge, Gerda (Mrs. Donald Aram) of Guelph, and Edith (Mrs. Ross Dreisinger) of Kitchener, brother of Reinhold of Waterloo, Hulda (Mrs. Karl Sodtke) of New Hamburg, Mrs. Olga Schmidt, Mrs. Sophie Mitchler and Hilda (Mrs. Edward Gronau) all of Kitchener. Also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. Predeceased by one brother, Kurt and one sister, Johanna.

The funeral was held at the Bethel Lutheran Church Dec. 1 at 2 pm with Rev. Helmut officiating. Interment followed in Memory Gardens.
