She is survived by 3 sons (Vernon, Harold, and Oscar), 2 daughters (Edna-Mrs. Paul Hunsberger, and Naomi-Mrs. Leonard Brubacher), 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter (Mabel), 5 sisters, and 6 brothers. She was a member of St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, St. Jacobs, Ont., where funeral services were held on Mar. 10, in charge of Richard Yordy; interment in church cemetery.

Brubacher, Naomi ~ It is with love that the daughters of Naomi (Martin) Brubacher, of Elmira, share with family and friends that their mother passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Innisfree House in Kitchener, at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Leonard Brubacher (1994). Cherished mother of Marie and Dave Snyder, Elaine and Mark Hiller, Carol Fewster, Marj and John deBoer, Cheryl and Fred Zehr. Precious grandma to 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Affectionately remembered by her dear friend Vernon Sauder and his family. Sadly missed by siblings Edna and Paul Hunsburger, Oscar Martin, Harold and Lorene Martin, Anna Shantz, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ishmael and Fanny (Snyder) Martin, sister Mabel Brubacher, and brother Vernon Martin. Brubacher, Mabel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ishmael Martin, was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., Sept. 9, 1930; died of cancer at the K-W Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Nov. 24, 1971; aged 41 y. 2 m. 15 d. On June 23, 1951, she was married to Cleason Brubacher, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter (Veronica Ann), 3 brothers (Vernon, Oscar, and Harold), and 2 sisters (Mrs. Paul Hunsberger and Mrs. Leonard Brubacher). She was a member of the Elmira Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Nov. 27, in charge of Vernon Leis and Amzie Brubacher; interment in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery.

MARTIN, Oscar S. Passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, at the age of 85. Oscar, of Elmira, was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Muriel (Block) Martin (2007). Loved father of Rod and Sandy of Guelph, Darren and April of Ancaster, and Michele of Elmira. Loving grandpa of Christopher and Katie, Nick and Emily, Laura, and Nathan, and great-grandpa of William. Dear brother of Harold and Lorene Martin of Conestogo and Edna Hunsberger of Goshen, Indiana. Predeceased by his parents Ishmael and Fanny Martin, brother Vernon, and sisters Mabel Brubacher and Naomi Brubacher. Special friend of Lila Frey of Elmira. The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A memorial service, with Pastor Fred Lichti officiating, will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmira Mennonite Church, 58 Church St. W., Elmira. In Oscar's memory, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Cardiac Care Centre would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
