    Peacefully, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family at his side, on Sunday, August 07, 2005.

    Harold (Sam) Airdrie, in his 64th year, was the beloved husband and best friend of Joan (Reiber) Airdrie of Kitchener. Loving father of Sandy and her husband Dave Schacht, Bonnie and her husband Jeff Young, Andy Airdrie and his wife Sheila, and Kim and her husband Scott Forwell. Cherished grandpa, papa, and pa, of Andrew and Tyler Schacht, Emily, Megan and Madeline Young, and Shayne, Wesley and Jesse Forwell. Loved brother of Ron Airdrie and his wife Pat. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Cecelia (Magnus) Airdrie and his brother Robert.

    Harold's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Harold will take place Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m.

    A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa's Roman Catholic Church (44 Leonard St., Kitchener) on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11a.m. Interment, at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

    AIRDRIE, Ron - Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, Ron Airdrie, formerly of Goderich in his 64th year. Beloved husband of 22 years of Pat Airdrie. Devoted dad of Jason Airdrie. Cherished companion of his beloved dog Molly. Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Joanie Airdrie and her family of Kitchener. A special thank you to a dear friend Patti-Jo Lavery-Verkley and Esther Fisher. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Cecilia Airdrie and his brothers Robert and Harry Airdrie. Friends will be received at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Evans chapel on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Prayers will be held in the chapel Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. Donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation London Chapter or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
