HENDERSON, Bruce Allan Peacefully at the Lisaard House, Cambridge on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Linda Eccles (nee Shantz). Dear father of Susan Church (Andy) of Elora and Steven Henderson of Oakville, grandfather of Natalie and Autumn and step-father of Greg Eccles of Waterloo. Loving son of Evelyn and the late Jack Henderson and dear brother of Doreen Shantz (Neil) of Kitchener, Ray (Joyce) of Elora, Eleanor Yule (Ken) of Mount Forest, Reg of Bloomingdale, Lloyd (Kathy) of Rossland, B.C., Bev Webster (Ron) of Stoney Creek, and Brenda Fritch (Monty) of Kitchener. Predeceased by brothers, Bill and Roy. Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Ruby Shantz and a brother-in-law Gary Shantz, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bruce had worked at Whistlebear Golf Course until ill health and with his brother Ray, they had owned and operated Ray's Auto Body Shop in Guelph for many years. He was a member of Independent Order of the Foresters and was a member and camped at the Pioneer Sportsman's Club. Bruce's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Bruce's life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
