    Aged 77 years, died March 12, 1982, at Louise Marshall Hospital, following a brief illness.

    Leaves to mourn her daughter, Mary (Mrs. Enos Brubacher) of RR 5, Mount Forest, Louisa (Mrs. Amsey Bearinger) of RR 6, Mount Forest; her son, Elo Martin of RR 1, Waterloo; three brothers; her step-mother, two step-sons and four step- daughters. Sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by her husband, George B. Martin; one brother and two sisters.

    Rested at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Amsey Bearinger, until Monday, March 15 at 9 a.m., then to Spring Creek Mennonite Church for further service and burial.

Father of Amos and Elvina Burkhart of RR 1, Wallenstein, Anna and Vernon Martin of Elmira, Lorne and Annie Burkhart of RR 1, Wallenstein, Leonard and Erma Burkhart of RR 3, Wallenstein, Paul and Esther Burkhart of RR 1, Wallenstein, James and Laura Burkhart of Hawkesville, Naomi and Allen Martin of RR 2, Drayton. Survived by 32 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. Brother of Amos and Rebecca Burkhart of RR 3, Wallenstein, Elsie and Sidney Frey of RR 1, Waterloo, and brother-in-law of Adah Burkhart of RR 1, St. Clements. He was predeceased by his parents Christian and Maryann (Shantz) Burkhart, a brother Elam Burkhart, one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Paul Burkhart's home, 4232 Lichty Road, RR 1, Wallenstein on Tuesday, January 17th from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 18th from 1- 5: 30 p.m. where family service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 9 a.m., then to Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to: Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.

Father of Rebecca and Edwin Martin of St. Jacobs, Aden and Lydia Martin of Matheson, Alvin and Irene Martin of Matheson, Isaiah and Anna Martin of Englehart, Henry and Maryann Martin of Val Gagne, Oscar and Ruth Martin of West Montrose. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Ada (Mrs. Mervin) Martin, Orvie and Maryann Martin, Mary Martin, all of West Montrose.

    Predeceased by parents Ceranus and Melinda (Shantz) Martin, his first wife Lydia (Brubacher) Martin (2015), daughter Hannah Martin, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, sister Susannah and Elo Martin, and brother-in-law Mervin Martin.
