Weber. - Emanuel, son of Amos and Hannah (Martin) Weber, was born March 30, 1893; died June 1, 1934; aged 41 y. 2 m. 2 d. He was taken ill on May 21. His mind failed. He was taken to Hamilton Hospital on May 22. He was awfully disturbed until Friday morning, when he passed away. He leaves his loving widow, 7 children, an aged father, 4 sisters and 4 brothers, namely: Leah (Mrs. Daniel Cressman), St. Jacobs; Israel, near St. Jacobs; Elias, near Yatton; Susanna (Mrs. Sidney Martin), St. Jacobs; Sidney, Lancaster, Pa.; Mary Ann (Mrs. Aaron Bauman), St. Jacobs; Amos, in Waterloo; Hannah (Mrs. Aaron Weber), Conestoga. He united with the Mennonite Church in his youth in which he remained until the Lord called him home. Funeral services were held at the Martins Church by Bros. Jessie Bauman and Thomas Reesor. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Gingrich, Matilda (nee Weber) ~ Peacefully passed into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Innisfree House, Kitchener, at the age of 96 years. Matilda was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Gingrich (1999). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Florence and Darrell Jantzi, Pauline and Allen Martin, Cliff and Yvonne, all of Elmira, Carol and Dalton Jantzi of Toronto, Bonnie and the late Jim (2004) of Waterloo, the late Larry (1994), and Darlene and Eric Frede of Conestogo. Lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Maryann and Edgar Martin, Anna Martin, and sister-in-law of Mary Weber, all of Elmira, and Delphine Weber of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents Emanuel and Annie (Frey) Weber, stepfather Henry Bowman, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, brothers Irvin (Lydia), Clarence and Cleason Weber, sisters Barbara (Amsey Martin and Manassa Weber), Hannah (Moses) Martin, brother-in-law Emerson Martin, and stepsisters Mary (Amon) Martin and Elvina (Edwin) Lichty. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira. Interment will be held in Hawkesville Cemetery on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service to celebrate Matilda's life at 11 a.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship. In Matilda's memory, donations to Rising Above, My People International or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Passed away peacefully, at his home, while surrounded by his family and close friends, on Thursday, November 11, 2004. Jim was 57. Beloved husband and best friend of Bonnie (Albrecht) for 33 years. Jim was a devoted and loving father to Tara of Toronto and Jason of Waterloo. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Matilda Gingrich of Elmira; brother and sisters, Florence and Darrel Jantzi, Pauline and Allen Martin, Cliff and Yvonne Gingrich, Carol and Dalton Jantzi and Darlene and Eric Frede. Jim will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lucille and Harry Albrecht of Kitchener; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay Albrecht and Sylke Spiller, Darlene and Dwight Gingrich, Roger Albrecht, Marilew Albrecht and Steve Martin, Matthew Albrecht and Meagan Earle; his nieces and nephews and many dear and special friends. He was predeceased by his father, Ivan Gingrich; brother, Larry Gingrich and brother-in-law, Tim Albrecht. Jim lived his life with integrity. He showed us compassion and acceptance and what it meant to be a friend. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality, adventurous spirit and passion for life. His friendship will be missed. Jim was a dedicated employee of Decortile Ltd. in St. Jacobs for nearly 30 years where he was Project Manager. He was active at Erb Street Mennonite Church where he was a former chair of the Board of Property and very involved in the recent building project. Jim loved being on the water and especially enjoyed the last two summers sailing with his family aboard his sailboat, "Home Free." Friends are invited to share their memories of Jim with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, today (Saturday) and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Church, 131 Erb Street West, Waterloo, on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Cremation has taken lace. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to join the family for the committal service at Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery.
