EWING, Helen Louise (nee Erb) Passed away after a short illness at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Penetanguishene, with her family at her side, on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the age of 69, of Coldwater and formerly of Port Elgin and Kitchener. Beloved wife of James Ewing. Loving mother of Scott Ewing (Shelley) of Barrie and Todd Ewing (Brenna) of Campbell River, B.C. Loved grand-mother of Holten and Delaney. Dear sister of Wilma Good of Wellesley, Verna Leis of Stratford, Clara Meyers of Kitchener, Eleanor Mast of Wooster, Ohio, Raymond Erb of St. Jacobs, Grace Buehler of Markstay, Erma Shantz of St. Clements, Doris VanTright of Port Elgin, and Lloyd Erb of Chesley. Predeceased by her parents Chris and Mattie Erb and by her brother Earl Erb and by her sister Betty Erb. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at the Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Wednesday, June 6th at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be made through the Coldwater Funeral Home , Coldwater (1-888-645-5485).
