    At the Sunnyside Home on Thursday, Nov. 14, 1974, following a brief illness, Ethel Hall, formerly of 33 Guelph St., Kitchener, aged 84 years; a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the friendship Circle of the church. Wife of the late Percy Kehl; mother of Ross of Conestogo, Earl, Kathleen (Mrs. Carl Schmitt) both of Kitchener, Laura (Mrs. Reuben Erb) of Florida and Mary (Mrs. Kenneth Davidson) of Kitchener; sister of Thomas Hall of Corbeil and Mrs. Mae Denham of Georgetown; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive; predeceased by one son Lorne; two sisters and one brother.

    Lawrence Kehl

    The funeral service for Lawrence (Rusty) Kehl of 161 David Street, who was killed in a car crash on Highway 6 near Guelph Sunday, will be held at 3: 30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sandrock Funeral Home. He was 50. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Born in Kitchener, May 4, 1917, he was a son of Mrs. Percy Kehl, the former Ethel Hall, of Kitchener and the late Percy Kehl. He had been a letter carrier with the Kitchener post office for 11 years. He was a member of the Kitchener legion branch and was a Lutheran adherent. He served overseas as a gunner with the 26th Field Regt. during the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, the former Lillian Harwood whom he married in Kitchener Dec. 27, 1966; two stepsons, Stephen Melonson, with the RCMP at Hundred Mile House, B.C., Robert, Kitchener; two brothers, Ross, Conestogo, Earl, Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Kathleen) Schmitt and Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Davidson, both of Kitchener, and Mrs. Reuben (Laura) Erb, Miami

    KEHL, Ross Roy Passed away at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on November 12, 2010 at age 89 surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband of Stella (Estella, nee Knischewsky) for 53 years. Dear father of Janet (Brad Godbot), Doug, Alan and Wayne. Also survived by a sister, Mary Davidson and sisters-in-law, Betty (wife of Earl) Lillian (wife of Lawrence) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Ethel Kehl, his siblings/ (in-laws) "Earl" Howard, Laura (Reuben "Rube" Erb), Kathleen and (Carl Schmitt), (Ken "Dix" Davidson) and "Lorny" Lawrence. Brother-in-law to Lucy and Johnny Knischewsky, Willard Knischewsky (MaryAnne, deceased), Francis Gooding, Sally Farquar (Robert "Bob" deceased), Harry Jankura (Jean, deceased), Laura Kieswetter (Lloyd, deceased), (Milton Knischewsky, deceased), Marritta and Edward Eckert and many nieces and nephews. Ross will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends. Ross was a long-time resident of Conestogo and a 42-year employee of J.M. Schneider (retired 1985). He had many acquaintances and friends through his road-side apple stand in Conestogo and stockroom management at J.M. Schneiders in Kitchener. The family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, November 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Ross's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Private family interment in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Conestogo.     DAVIDSON, Mary Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on October 22, 2013, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth (Dixie). Dearest mother of Judi Sellner, Kenneth Jr. (Kathy) and the late William. Loving gramma of Kyle and Mandy Sellner and Christopher and Kari Davidson. Mary is survived by her sisters-in-law Betty and Stella Kehl, Connie (David) Grimm and Shirley Scott.
