    Mrs. Daniel Hostetler
    The death occurred yesterday afternoon in Pembroke of Mrs. Daniel Hostetler of that place, a former resident of this city. Mrs. Hostetler was about 85 years of age. Remains are being brought to this city tonight for internment here. The funeral will be held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Caesar, 16 Krug street, at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon followed by services at the Penecostal Tabernacle, Benton street, at 2.30 o'clock

    Mrs. Daniel Hostetler

    The death took place at the home of her daughter in Pembroke on Sunday of Mrs. Daniel Hostetler at the age of 85 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Shantz and was born on Erb's Road, Wilmot Township, where she spent her girlhood days. After her marriage she first resided on a farm north of Wellesley, but later moved to Kitchener. Her husband predeceased her eight years ago and since then she made her home with her daughter.
    The remains were brought to Kitchener where internment took place on Tuesday afternoon with services in the Penticostal Tabernacle. Quite a number of New Hamburg relatives attended the funeral

    Gift:
    This stool was a personal gift to Emma Hostetler, a Mennonite missionary from Ontario. It was made in the Nupe kingdom of northern Nigeria, whose craft specialists were noted blacksmiths, brass workers, weavers, and tailors. Hostetler, the first worker sent out to Nigeria in 1907 by the Bethany Missionary Church, died there of smallpox in 1912.

    Miss Rebecca Hostetler, 335 Pine St., Collingwood, died yesterday at Toronto. She was 62 years old.
    Born on Dec. 26, 1881, at Marlboro to the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hostetler, she was for about 40 years deaconess of the City Missions Workers Society of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ Church.
    The funeral will be held on Friday at Bethany Mennonite Church at 2: 30 p.m. with internment in First Mennonite Cemetery. Rev. M. Bricker of Toronto, president of the City Missions Workers Society, will be in charge of the service, assisted by Rev. C N. Good of Kitchener. Remains will rest at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home here until 1 p.m. on Friday when removal will be made to church.
