Lichti, Emerson - At K-W Hospital, on Monday, Dec. 26, 1994, Emerson Lichty, of Kitchener, age 87 years. Mr. Lichty was a long time employee of Uniroyal Ltd. for 30 years before retirement. He served in the Scots Fusiliers Reserves, was a member of Breithaupt Seniors where he was Trip Co-ordinator for 18 years and was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgeport. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Heimpel) for 58 years. Loving father of Douglas and his wife Judy of Guelph, Carol and her husband Jim Fulcher of Eganville; brother of Leah Harper of Kitchener. Sadly missed by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, John Lichty and the former Anna Kropf; a daughter, Beverley Langhorn and 10 brothers and sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Alan Kehn officiating. Internment Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, would be gratefully acknowledged.
