    Hunsperger.-Delman, son of Moses and Elizabeth (Snyder) Hunsperger, was born in Wilmot Twp., Waterloo Co., Ont., April 20, 1870; died at his home Jan. 11, 1949; after a lingering illness, aged 78 y. 8 m. 21 d. He spent his youth in Wilmot Twp. On Dec. 10, 1902, he was married to Lydia Ann Nahrgang, also of Wilmot. They lived their entire married life in the vicinity of Preston, Ont. In early manhood he accepted Christ and united with the Mennonite Church. The greater part of his life he was in fellowship with the Wanner congregation, where he was a member at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, 2 daughters and one son (Mary-Mrs. Cecil Gingrich, Kitchener, Ont.; Edna, senior at Goshen College, and Enan, who lives on the home farm), 6 grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Lovina Cober, Stayner, Ont.). One brother and 3 sisters (Veronica, Susanna-Mrs. David Geiger, Hespeler, Ont.; Magdalena, Kitchener; Jonas, Wilmot Twp.) predeceased her. Funeral services were held at the Wanner Mennonite Church on Jan. 13, in charge of J. W. Witmer, assisted by Merle Shantz. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Dilman Hunsperger

    PRESTON, Jan. 11. Former Preston resident and resident of Waterloo Township, for the past 42 years, Dilman Hunsperger, died at his home, at 12: 30 this morning, at the age of 78 years. He had been ailing for 18 months, but had been seriously ill only a few days. Born in Wellesley Township, Mr. Hunsperger, resided there until his marriage, 46 years ago, when he made his home, in Preston, residing here four years and then moving to the farm in Waterloo Township, where he resided until the time of his death. He was a member of the Wanner Mennonite Church. Surviving is his widow, the former Lydia Ann Nahrgang; a son, Enan, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Mary) Gingrich of Sunnyside and Miss Edna Hunsperger at Goshen College, Ind. and a sister, Mrs. Lovina Cover of Stayner. The body will rest at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, until 1 o'clock, Thursday, then at Wanner Mennonite Church for service, at 2: 30. A short service will be held at the family residence, at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

    Of 3B Langs Drive, Cambridge, on Friday, June 2, 1989, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Stella Langs. Dear father of Ralph of Emo. Ont., John of Espanola, Ont., Eleanor (Mrs Blake Moyer) of Kitchener, Carol (Mrs. Bert Martin) of Elmira. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mary (Mrs. Cecil Gingrich) and Edna [Mrs. Henry Bowman), both of Cambridge. Mr. Hunsperger, farmed at Maple Grove and Listowel, for a number of years. He was a member of Wanner Mennonite Church. By request of the family, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private family committal service will be held Monday, at Wanner Mennonite cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Wanner Mennonite Church, Sunday, June 18, 1989, at 3 p.m.

She was a lifelong resident of the Cambridge area. Edna was a retired VON nurse, a member of Wanner Mennonite Church, Waterloo Historical Society. K-W Hospital Nurses Alumni, Women's Missionary Societies. She also served in England with the M.C.C. during the Second World War. The family will receive friends at the Fairview Mennonite Home. 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge, on Saturday, July 20, 2002, from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. Interment First Mennonite Cemetery, Kitchener. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Mennonite Board of Missions or Fairview Mennonite Home would be appreciated by the family.     1933 - 2021 Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of Ivan Gascho (2006) for 50 years. Loving mother of Fay Gascho of Petersburg and her husband Andre Bernier (2017), Jeanette Gascho and her husband Scott Nicoll of Plattsville, and Christine Gascho and her husband Steve Bradley of Kitchener. Proud and loving grandmother of Maya, Myles and Morgan Bernier, Billy Nicoll (Alison), Amy Nicoll (Jose), Ilia Nicoll (Ryan), and Jake Nicoll. Great-grandmother of Silas Nicoll, Meesha and Paloma Contreras. She is survived by her sister Jeanne Weber of Orillia. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Mary (Hunsperger) Gingrich of Breslau. Doris served as a pastor and co-pastor at Shantz Mennonite Church from 1986 to 1994. From 1994 to 1999 she served as Conference Minister of the Mennonite Conference of Eastern Ontario. She has been living at the Court at Laurelwood for the last five years. Cremation will take place on Friday, March 5, 2021. Friends and family are invited to join in a virtual funeral service on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Details will be posted on the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home website.
