    George Nathan Muma Passes - George Nathan Muma died Friday tin South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was 93. For the last seven years of his life, Mr., Muma had been a resident of the Eventide Home in Galt. Born in Teeterville, near Simcoe; he spent his early years in the Innerkip Drumbo and Ayr districts, settling in Ayr. He was, for many years, an employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Predeceased by his wife, the former Jane Isabella Foreman, and two sons, William and Arnold, he Is survived by a son, Gordon of Galt; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Belva) Nichols of Ayr; one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Sarah) Grigg, Simcoe; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

    The Funeral

    The funeral was held from the W. O. Ball Funeral Home, Ayr, on Sunday at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. D. E. Willis of Knox United Church, assisted by Major Hustler of the Eventide Home, officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons, Garry Muma, Calvin Muma, John Muma, Jack Nichols and Gerald Muma, and a nephew, Harold Muma. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.

    Mrs. Belva Nichols

    Mrs. Belva Clare Nichols of 25 Harris Street, Galt, passed away Monday, June 11th at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Born August 30th, 1906 in Drumbo, she was a daughter of the late George Muma and Jane Isabella Foreman. Mrs. Nichols had resided in Galt since 1977, moving there from Ayr. Predeceased by her husband Carl and son Jack, both in 1977; also three brothers William, Arnold and Gordon. Six grandchildren survive. Private family service. No visitation. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.

    G. William Muma Passes

    The death occurred on Monday afternoon of a former, well-known Ayr resident, George William Muma of St. Marys in his 52nd year. Mr. Muma succumbed suddenly as the result of a heart attack. Born in Blandford Township, he was a son of George Muma and the late Isabella Muma. He came with the family to Ayr in his youth and resided here for a number of years before taking employment with the CPR. He was section foreman at Drumbo for a lengthy period before moving to St. Marys four years ago to take a similar position. He served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War 2. Surviving are his wife, the former Christina McDonald; a son, Gerald; his father, George Muma of Ayr; two brothers, Arnold and Gordon of Galt, and a sister, Mrs. Carl Nichols (Belva) of Agincourt. Resting at the W. O. Ball Funeral Parlor, Ayr, where service will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m., with interment in the Ayr Cemetery.

    Arnold Muma Passes

    A well-known native of Ayr, Wesley Arnold Muma of Windsor passed away at Metropolitan Hospital in that city on Thursday, aged 47 years. A son of George Muma of Galt and the late Bella Foreman Muma, he was born in Ayr on October 24, 1915. He received his education here and later was employed for some years at Love's Drug Store. He subsequently moved to Galt, where he was a bus driver with Canada Coach Lines for 15 years. Two years ago he moved to Windsor to accept a position as an examiner with the Ontario Department of Transport. Surviving, besides. his father, are his wife, the former Betty Urquhart (formerly of Ayr); one son, John of Windsor; a brother, Gordon Muma of Galt, and a sister (Belva) Mrs. Carl Nichols of Agincourt. He was predeceased by a brother, William, in 1960.

    The Funeral

    The funeral was held on Monday from Coutts & Son Funeral Home, Galt, service being conducted by Rev. Fred Roberts of First United Church, Galt, of which deceased was a member. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were: David Draper, Windsor; Henry DeBruck, Hamilton; Albert DeLuca, Simcoe; Karl Knipe, Toronto; Robert Gemmell, Galt, and Bruce Kinnes of Kitchener, all Department of Transport supervisors.

    MUMA, Gordon Leroy Passed away on Sunday, May 16, 1982, at his residence, 12 Short St., Cambridge, in his 63rd year. Gord retired in 1977, after 36 years as a police inspector, with the Waterloo Regional Police Force. Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Kivell; dear fatherof Cal of Guelph and Gary of Wasaga Beach; dear brother of Mrs. Belva Nichols of Cambridge. Also survived by three grandchildren. Resting at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew St., Cambridge,where family will receive friends, this evening, from 7-9 and on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral and committal services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 19, at 11 a.m. Interment Ayr cemetery.
