    Kropf, Annie - On Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Annie Kropf, formerly of Waterloo. She was born in Wilmot township, 100 years ago, a daughter of the late Abraham and Catherine (Roth) Herner. She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church. Annie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, travelling and interacting with fellow residents at Nithview Home, New Hamburg. Beloved wife of Aaron Kropf, who predeceased her May 31, 1967. Loving mother of Wilbert and his wife Audrey Kropf of Waterloo and Verdella (Verdie) and her husband Anthony Vandepol of St. Clements. Ever missed and loved by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Annie was predeceased by her granddaughter, Deborah in infancy; four brothers; her twin, Chris and his wife Edna, Ben and his wife Elizabeth and Noah and his wife Violet. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at 12 noon transfer will be made to St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Doug Snyder officiating. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Nithview Home, New Hamburg.

    Kropf, Wilbert (Wib) -Peacefully, at home, surrounded by family, on Friday, October 24, 2003, at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Audrey (Ruby) for 54 years. Loving father of Judy Roberts (Richard) of Baden, Susan Bauer (Dick) and Fred, all of Waterloo and Tom (Allison) of Bright. Cherished grandfather of Lisa (Steve), Aaron, Emily, Canaan, Jacob and Jesse. Dear brother of Verdie Vandepol (Tony). Predeceased by his parents, Aaron and Annie Herner and grandson, Andy. Friends are invited to share memories of Wib with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday October 28, 2003 with Rev. Ken Taylor officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or to World Vision would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by calling the funeral home at 745-8445.

    VERDELLA VANDEPOL OBITUARY 1932-2022

    Verdella peacefully entered into her eternal home on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the age of 90 years. Survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Anthony, her children Valerie Poulsen (Rev. Olaf), Ben Wynowsky (Karen), Denis Wynowsky (Carol), grandchildren, Rebecca Chamberland (Paul), Aaron Wynowsky (Samantha), Colin Wynowsky (Sarah), Leslie Olaskey (Amanda), Grant Hallman (Brandi), Candice Matchett (Kyle), Wendy Wynowsky (Dawson) as well as 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Wilbert Kropf and her daughter Deborah. Special thanks are extended by the family to Dr. Dai, Nurse Bernadette from Care Partners and all the staff at Waterloo Hospice for the care shown to Verdella. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. The service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Olaf Poulsen officiating. Cremation will have taken place and interment will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Erbsville at a later date.
