PRESTON, March 18 - Well-known Preston resident for the past 40 years, Lily Jane Ruthig, wife of Ernest M. Wiles, died suddenly of a heart attack, at her home 147 Queen St. yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Wiles was 68. Born in Newton, Wellesley Township, she resided there until corning to Preston 40 years ago, making her home here since that time. A member of Knox Presbyterian Church, she was also a former member of Queen Rebekah Lodge, Preston. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. K. (Cara-belle) David of Kitchener; Mrs. Melvin (Lucille) Kerr of Alma; Mrs. A. G. (Nel) Pirak of Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. William Tilk of Preston and Mrs. Joseph Weigand of Utica. N.Y.; three brothers, Albert Ruthig, Kitchener, Edward Ruthig, Vancouver, and Lorne Ruthig of Toronto, and four grandchildren. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass, Ltd., Funeral Home, where funeral will be held, Monday, 2 p.m. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Preston.

Wiles of 75 York St., Apt. 1401, aged 66 years; a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church; a resident of the Twin Cities for one year; wife of Melville; mother of Brenda of Hamilton; sister of Mrs. Carabell David and Mrs. Al (Nell) Pirak, both of Kitchener; predeceased by her parents. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Interment will be in Milverton Greenwood cemetery. Further funeral arrangements are still pending.
