Beloved wife of the late Clarence (1995); loved mother to Floyd and Helen, Donald and Leone, all of Ayr, and the late Earl and Donna of Cambridge; cherished grandma to Debbie and Kenneth, Carolyn and Neil, Terry and Garry, Rodney and Carolynne, Cheryl and Paul, Steven and Ann, Janeen, Nadine and Dennis, Christopher and Suzanne, Erin and Dustin, and Andrew and Tanya; great-grandma to 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; dear sister to Sangster Goettling and sister-in-law Velma Schaefer and godmother to Marilyn Howe .     GOETTLING, Sangster Albert, 1920-2007 - Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in his 87th year, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Dear father of Ron (Wendy) of New Hamburg and Karen and her husband Joe Reinhart of Kitchener. Sangster will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth of Kitchener. Special dad to Sheila, Kim and Darren (Rose) Longpre. Predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife of 57 years, the former Helen Eckstein in 2005 and one son, Rob in 2006. He was the last surviving member of his family. Sangster had farmed all his life on the farm where he was born and was a longtime member of the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church. Friends may call at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. West, Kitchener, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday at the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church, 2463 Bleams Rd., Petersburg from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service will be from the church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Domm and Pastor Donald Mills officiating. Interment will be in the Wilmot Centre Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church Building Fund or the Village of Hope in Burkina Faso as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home. Mr. Schaefer was an employee of Preston Sand and Gravel for the past 35 years.     1950 - 2006 Passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, in his 57th year. Survived by his wife Elizabeth. Proud father of Jeffery, Bradley and Jennifer. Greatly missed by his father, Sangster Goettling (Helen 2005); brother, Ron (Wendy); sister, Karen (Joe) Reinhart, Sean and Lisa (Ernie). Special brother to Sheila, Kim (Amber and Rachelle), Darren (Rose), Brent and Megan Longpre. Brother-in-law to Stewart (Nancy) Cressman, Carol Cressman Foster (Peter 2001) and Janet Cressman. He leaves behind many dear aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Robert enjoyed gardening, flowers (orchids), cooking, travelling and visit-ing with people. A special thank you to all who so graciously cared for Robert. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family during visitation on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The funeral service to celebrate Robert's life will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m., Tuesday, with Pastor Graham Burkhart and Pastor Wayne Domm officiating. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will be held in Wilmot Centre Cemetery.
