    A native of Elma Township, Henry Voll, 78, of Josephsburg died Saturday, May 9, at the Like-holme convalescent home, St. Jacobs, where he was residing for the past six months.

    Born Dec. 11, 1880, a son of the late Henry Voll and Elizabeth Stever, he moved to Josephsburg 20 years ago. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidleberg.

    Survivors include his wife, the former Louise Hahn, whom he married in Linwood in 1914; one son, Melvin of Kitchener; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Irene) Hertel, Mrs. Alexander (Mabel) Masyk and Mrs. Laverne (Beatrice) Golbeck, all of Kitchener; two brothers, John of Linwood, Frederick, RR 3, Britton; three sisters Mrs. John Schleuter and Mrs. Oscar Justice of Linwood, Mrs. Arthur Seip of Waterloo, and 10 grandchildren.

    Mrs. John Schlueter of Heidelberg died last week at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 86.

    The former Katherine Voll. she was born Dec: 25, 1882. in Perth County. a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry, Voll.

    She was married to John Schlueter in 1907 in Listowel. When they moved to Linwood she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. They moved to Heidelberg two years ago.

    Surviving are her husband: two sons. Gordon of Heidelberg and Cecil. RR 2. Waterloo: three sisters. Mrs. Albert (Edith) Stroh. Mrs. Edwin (Winnifred Schneider, and Mrs. Clarence Evelyn) Moser. all of Kitchener: one brother. Frederick of Milverton; one sister. Mrs. Oscar (Vina) Justus of Kitchener: 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

    The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira. until Saturday noon when removal was made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood. Funeral service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Eric Griebling.

    Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery. Linwood.

    Beloved husband of the former Phyllis McWatters. Cherished father of Darlene and her husband Gary Lampman, Douglas, Debra and her husband Ozzie Mertin. Loving grandfather of Steven, Mark, Michael, Timothy, Lori and Lesa Schlueter and Natalie Mertin; great-grandfather of Crystal Ann. Brother of Cecil and his wife Helen and Edith Stroh, all of Kitchener, Evelyn and her husband Clarence Moser of Waterloo.

    Predeceased by his parents, John Schlueter and the former Catherina Voll and his sister, Vera.

    Gordon was an employee of Carling O'Keefe Breweries Limited, Waterloo, until his retirement and a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church.

    Friends may call at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Richard Ballenthin will conduct the service. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery, Linwood.

    Peacefully, on Monday, March 8, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital, in his 87th year, Cecil went home to be with his parents, John and Katherine (nee Voll). Beloved husband of Helen (nee Prickett) for 59 years. Loving father of Gary Schlueter (Joan), Peter Miehm (Sharon), Sharon Hibbs (the late Jerry), Daniel Schlueter, Pam Cromie (Brian), Jackie Miller, Chris Schlueter. (Starr) and Greg Schlueter (Gayle).. Also loved by his 15 grandchildren; Kevin, Luanne, Kevin, Tracy, Shawn, Trevor, Troy, Andrew, Kim, Stephanie, Kyle, Nathaniel, Arissa. Bosh, Garrid and baby Grace (2005) and his many great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Hazel Schneider (the late Edwin) and the late Edith, Gordon and Evelyn. Schlueter operated Bel-Air Cart-age for many years, in Kitchener, along with his wife Helen and both were well known for raising standardbred race horses. Friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Funeral Service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen Street North, Kitchener, on Monday morning, at 11 a.m. Interment in Parkview Cemetery.

Loving mother of Carolyn Hertzberger and Don Denstedt of Elmira; Valerie and Larry Moffatt of Fergus; and Graham Eydt of R.R.#1, Millbank.
