    Notes:

    Woolner.-Sister (Mrs.) Addison Woolner passed away at her late residence, near Kitchener, Ont., Thursday morning, June 15, 1939. She was born July 2, 1884, near Floradale, Ont., and was in her 55th year. On Dec. 24, 1907, she was married in Waterloo to Bro. Addison Woolner. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Snider. She is survived by her husband, 4 sons (Orville Woolner of Kitchener; Lloyd, Calvin, and Gordon, at home), and 1 daughter (Rella Woolner, also at home), 1 brother (Clarence Snider, Hughton, Sask.), and 8 sisters (Mrs. Edward Bohlender of Drayton, Mrs. Harry Heintzman of Elmira, Mrs. Alvin Oswald of Elmira, Mrs. Peter Musselman of Williamsburg, Mrs. Nelson Woolner of Kitchener, Mrs. Charles Ermel of Waterloo, Nora Snider of Kitchener, and Mrs. Harvey Reger of Elmira); also 1 grandson. One son predeceased her. She united with the Mennonite Church in the days of her youth, and remained faithful to her early vow with God. She was a lover of home, a good mother, a kind neighbor interested in the welfare of others, and a regular attendant at the house of God while her health permitted. The services and interment were conducted at the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ont., by Bro. C. F. Derstine. Theme, "Undaunted." Job 13: 15.

    WOOLNER Lloyd G. -- Passed away on Thursday March 22, 1979, at his home, 748 Zeller drive, Kitchener Lloyd G. Woolner, in his 69th year.

    Survived by his wife, the former Edith Cressman; his daughter Mary Ann (Mrs. Norman Ropp) of London, Ont.; his son, Robert I. Woolner of Kitchener; grandfather of Andrew and Emily Woolner. Also survived by his sister, Rella Woolner of Kitchener and his brother Gordon Woolner of waterloo. Predeceased by two brothers, Orval and Calvin; his father Addison Woolner; his mother, the former Mary Ann Snider and a brother, Howard in infancy.

    He was a member of the first Mennonite church, Kitchener and farmed all his life until his retirement in 1968. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening until noon on Saturday, then at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E., Kitchener, for funeral and committal service on Saturday at 2 p.m. Stanley Sauder will conduct the service. Interment will be made in First Mennonite cemetery

    Woolner.--Howard Clare, son of Bro. Addison and Sister Mary Ann Woolner, died of spinal meningitis Mar. 15, 1922; aged 6 m. 1 d. He leaves his sorrowing parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and grandparents on both sides. Funeral at the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ont., conducted by Bro. U. K. Weber.

    WOOLNER, Gordon Passed on to his heavenly home on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Pinehaven Nursing Home at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Albrecht). Loving father of John and Lisa Woolner, of Kamloops, B.C., the late Tom Woolner and his wife Jeanette, of Charbot Lake, ON and Kathy and Lorne Shantz, of Windsor, ON. Dear grandfather of Carly and Jessie Woolner, Jeff and Laura (Rob) Woolner, Ethan, Winston, Josie, Kingston and Jubilee Shantz, Matthew and Justin Shantz, and his adopted grandchildren Thomas, Sally and Merlin Dong. Predeceased by his siblings Orval, Lloyd, Calvin and Rella. Gordon and Eileen enjoyed many years of cottaging and fishing at Chesley Lake with family and friends, as well as many winters in Florida and were faithful members of Bethany Missionary Church. Gordon's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue at Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church (160 Lancaster St. E., Kitchener) on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pat Murphy officiating. Reception to follow. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
