    Mary Neumeister NEW HAMBURG -

    Mrs. Mary Neumeister, 80, died Sunday at the home of her son Leonard, of Elmira.

    Born in North Easthope Township, she was a daughter of the late John Heyer and the former Clara Schmidt. She and her husband, Milton Neumeister, who died in 1976, had farmed at RR 1 Milverton for 35 years before retiring to New Hamburg in 1977.

    She was a member of the Wellesley Alliance Church.

    Surviving are sons, Earl, of Kitchener, Leonard and wife Erla, of Elmira; a daughter-in- law, Charlotte Neumeister, of Shakespeare; and grandchildren Matthew, Melanie, Corey, Rachel and Caleb Neumeister; a brother, Edwin Heyer and wife Dorothy of New Hamburg; sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Pearl) Dorner, of New Hamburg, and Mrs. Eric (Florence) Kuehn, of Waterloo; and a sister-in-iaw, Magdalene Heyer, of New Hamburg; also nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons, Bruce in 1991, and Harold in infancy, and brothers, Henry, Roy, Arthur and Clayton Heyer.

    Friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Transfer will be made Wednesday to the Wellesley Alli- ance Church for a service at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Ted Losch will officiate. Burial will be in Rush's Cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Independent Missions Fund at Wellesley Alliance Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.

    NEUMEISTER, Earl Roy-After a courageous battle with myelofibrosis, Earl passed away on December 27, 2006, at Lisaard House in Cambridge. Earl was born February 10, 1945 in Stratford.

    He is survived by his wife Linda and his children Carrie Adamson (Blaine Davidson) of Markstay and Corey Neumeister of Kitchener and his step- children Terry (Debbie) Kraemer of Calgary, Alberta, Michelle (Bill Ridley) Forrest of Kitchener and Rick (Brenda) Kraemer of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, his brother Len (Erla) Neumeister of Linwood, sisters-in-law Charlotte (Murray) McTavish of Shakespeare and Judy Nicholl of Kitchener, brothers-in-law Tim (Angie) Rohrbacher of Waterloo, Tom (Tara) Rohrbacher of Shakespeare and Dan Racine of Toronto and his grand- children Damian, Dustin, Andre, Codi, Jesse, Jade, Kyro and Jorga. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Mary (Heyer) Neumeister, and two brothers, Harold (in infancy) and Bruce (1991).

    Earl was a retired employee of BF Goodrich. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and car racing.

    Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Friday, December 29, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and again before the funeral service which will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the funeral home where Rev. Ted Losch will officiate. Interment in Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley Township.

    Donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family.

    Notes:

    Bruce Neumeister, 39, of 42 Regent St., Shakespeare, died Tuesday as the result of a construction accident.

    Born in Stratford, he was a son of Mary (Heyer) Neumeister, of New Hamburg, and the late Milton Neumeister.

    He had been a resident of Shakespeare for the past 18 years and was a volunteer fireman with the Shakespeare Fire Department.
    He was an employee of Yundt Brothers Construction since 1985 and was formerly employed with Roth Drainage.

    He was a member of St. James Anglican Church, a member of the board of management and a Lay assistant. He was also president elect of the Shakespeare Optimist Club.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Charlotte Lynn Baker whom he married April 22, 1972, at St. James Anglican Church; a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Melanie, both at home; his mother, Mary Neumeister; brothers, Earl, of Kitchener, Kitchener, and Leonard and wife Erla, of Elmira; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Jean Baker, of 593 Ontario St.; a sister-in-law, Janice Baker, of Stratford; also nephews and a niece, Cory, Caleb and Rachel. He was predeceased by a brother, Harold in infancy.

    Friends will be received at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford, today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. James Anglican Church. Burial will be in Avondale Cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church organ fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sunshine Foundation.
