Bob Hartleib, a member of St. Joseph's RC Church, the Kitchener Knights of Columbus Council 1504 and an associate member of the Bell Pioneers. A retired employee of MTD Limited serving for 49 years. Son of the late Walter Hartleib and the former Helen Miehm. Beloved husband of Dorothy Hartleib (nee Pollard); loving father of David and his wife Kathy of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by his loving grandchildren, Kristy and Dianna. Dear brother of Wilfred Hartleib and his wife Patricia of Kitchener and Margaret Kempiniski and her husband Michael of Elliott Lake. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, after 7 pm Thursday, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 pm and 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday. Visitation will continue until Saturday, Oct 10 when prayers will be offered from the funeral home chapel at 9: 30 am, followed by funeral mass at St. Joseph's RC Church at 10 am, Father Don Sanvido officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

    HARTLEIB, Wilfred - Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Grand River Hospital on Thursday, April 17, 2008, in his 75th year. Beloved husband .Patricia (nee Nolan) for 51 years. Loving father of Christine Hartleib-Brown and her husband Greg of Ayr, Jeffrey Hartleib and his wife Linda of Waterloo and Scott Hartleib and his wife Gillian of Plattsville. Cherished papa of Mark (Sarah), Tim, Jordan and Megan Brown, Samantha, Nicole, Patrick and Dylan Hartleib. Dear brother of Margaret Kempinski and her husband Mike of Paris and sister-in-law Dorothy Hartleib, of Kitchener. Survived by his siblings-in-law, Jim Nolan, Ann Stockie, Helen Miehm (Bruce), Vincent Nolan (Mary Ellen), Helen Nolan and Vincent Murray. Wilf will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog, Sabel. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen Hartleib; brother, Robert, siblings-in-law Dorothy Murray, Mary Tate, Dennis and Anne Nolan, Joe Nolan, Louis Nolan and Frank Nolan. Wilfred's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 19, (today) and Sunday, April 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. (Prayer vigil 3: 45 pm Sunday) at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel on Monday April 21, 2008, at 10: 20 am followed by procession to St. Aloysius RC Church (11 Traynor Ave.) for Wilfred's funeral mass at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
