    Snider, Luella, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Eby, was born at Bridgeport, Ont., Oct. 14, 1884; died Feb. 2, 1969; aged 84 y. 3 m. 19 d. On Jan. 16, 1907, she was married to Edgar Snider, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Sanford and Maurice), 2 daughters (Mildred - Mrs. Walter Byer and Mabel), 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother (Alpheus), and 2 sisters (Mrs. Beulah Shantz and Vera - Mrs. Isaac Hurst). She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She was a member of the Erb Street Church, where funeral services were held, with Milton Schwartzentruber and J. B. Martin officiating.

    MABEL SNIDER 1910-2006 Passed away at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Monday, May 22, 2006 in her 96th year. Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, Sandy Snider (Gloria), of Virginia, David Snider (Rhoda), of Pennsylvania, Keith Snider (Marilyn) of Waterloo and niece, Karen Rockwell (Rick), of Michigan. She is survived by nine great-nieces and nephews as well as many cousins. Predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Luella Snider; sister, Mildred Byer and brothers, Sanford and Maurice. Mabel was born and raised in Waterloo. She worked as a bookkeeper for both National Grocers and Hallman Organs. She was a longtime member of Erb St. Mennonite Church. In her later years she lived at Fairview Mennonite Home in Cambridge. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mabel with her family during visitation in the Auditorium of Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge today (Wednesday) from 2-4 p.m. Visitation will continue from 7-9 p.m. at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The funeral service to celebrate Mabel's life and faith will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Church, on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Interment to follow in Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery. Donations in Mabel's memory may be made to Fairview Mennonite Home or a charity of your choice and can be arranged through the funeral home.     Snider, Maurice S. - At the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital on Wednesday, October 8, 1975, after a brief illness, Maurice Samuel Snider of 103 Roger St., Waterloo, aged 60 years. Mr. Snider was a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities; a son of the late Edgar Snider and the former Luella Eby. Mr. Snider had been employed at the Mutual Life Assurance Company for 37 years; a member of the 25 year club and the Kitchener All Sports Club and a veteran of the Second World War, served overseas with the Canadian Forces. Husband of Dorothy Fischer; father of Keith of Kitchener; brother of Mildred (Mrs. Walter Byer) of Markham, Mabel Snider of Waterloo and Sanford Snider of Turner, Mich. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight. Funeral and committal service in the chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Shrier officiating. Internment Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo. Donations to the building fund of the Waterloo Pentecostal Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association may be made as expressions of sympathy. The family will be in attendance at the funeral home from 7-9 tonight and from 2-4: 30 and 7-9 on Friday.
