    Marie YANTZI - Marie Yantzi, 82, of RR2, Tavistock, at Sebastopol, passed away in Stratford General Hospital, on Friday, December 3, 2004, to be present with her Lord. She was born in Wilmot Township, Waterloo County on October 13, 1922, a daughter of the late John Z. Gingerich and the former Annie Steinman. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Wilmot Township and the former Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Marie is survived by her husband, Omer Yantzi, whom she married at Steinman Mennonite Church, Wilmot Township on June 5, 1952; four children, Timothy and his wife Judy Yantzi, Richard and his wife Darlene Yantzi, Sharon and her husband Wayne Ropp, all of RR2, Tavistock; Stephen and his wife Lisa Yantzi of New Hamburg; 16 Grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Gerald Schwartzentruber of New Hamburg; sisters-in-law, Agnes Gingerich of Kitchener, Ruby Gingerich of Baden and several "Yantzi" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her brothers, Orland Gingerich and Alvin Gingerich and "Yantzi" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The graveside committal service will be held at the East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th line on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in East Zorra Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Pastor Earl Koch and Pastor Howard Bean will officiate. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to Masters International Ministries, Christian Aid Ministries or a charity of one's own choice would be appreciated and may be made by calling the funeral home at 655-2431.
