    Paul Snyder Believed Killed

    Waterloo, Nov. 5 (CP) -Word has been received here from the Department of National Defense that Pilot Officcer Paul Snyder, previously reported missing, now Is beilieved to have been killed on an operational flight over emeny territory on Jun 12 Son of Mr. and Mrs. Claton Snyder of Waterloo Pilot Officer Snyder was one of Canada's outstanding badrninton players. He teamed with his brother Jim to win the Canadian men's doubles championship In 1940 at Winnipeg. Jim, who is also pilot office: in the Royal Canadian Air Force now is stationed at Patricia Ray, B.C. He enlisted In July, 1940, had left for overseas Feb. 18 ot this year. Prior to his enlistment Pilot Officer Snyder was an executive at Snyder'. Ltd., employed at the Montreal plant. Pilot Officer Snyder was a graduate of Ridley College and University of Toronto where he was a Member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternIty was also a member of the First United Church. Waterloo.
