    Eby,-- Cyrus, son of William K. and Susannah (Dettwiler) Eby, was born Oct. 31, 1866, in Conestoga, Ont.; died Dec. 28, 1951, at New Paris, Ind.; aged 85 y. 1 m. 28 d. He was married to Elizabeth Brubacher in 1890, to which union were born 6 children who survive him (Jeremiah Eby, Mrs. Susannah Brubacher, William Eby, Israel Eby, Mrs. Amanda Kulp, Mrs. Lydia Kilmer). His wife Elizabeth died Jun 11, 1913. He was married again to Susannah W. Martin in 1917. She died Nov. 20, 1934. Also surviving him are a stepson (Mahlon Martin, Brutus, Mich.), 45 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Daniel Brubacher, Elverson, Pa.). He moved withhis family to Brutus, Mich., in 1898 where he lived on a farm till the death of his wife, after which he made his home with his daughter. He accepted Christ as his Saviour in his youth and faithfully served the Lord until his departure. Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Church, Brutus, Mich., Jan. 2, 1952, by Clyde Kauffman, Royal Buskirk, and Ivan Weaver. Interment was in the Mennonite Cemetery, Brutus, Mich.

    Eby, Jeremiah B., son of Cyrus and Elizabeth (Brubacher) Eby, was born in Conestogo, Ont., Aug. 2, 1891; died at the Lockwood Hospital, Petoskey, Mich., Dec. 2, 1961; aged 70 y. 4 m. On Sept. 19, 1915, he was married to Mary Shaum, who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons and one daughter (John, Brutus, Mich.; Emerson, Pickford, Mich.; George, El Cajon, Calif.; Clayton, Clarinda, Iowa; Lawrence, Portland, Oreg.; and Susan, Goshen, Ind.), 17 grandchildren, 2 brothers (Israel and William), 3 sisters (Mrs. Clayton Kilmer), and one stepbrother (Mahlon Martin). Two sons preceded him in death. He was a member of the Maple River Church, Brutus, Mich., where funeral services were held Dec. 6, in charge of Earl Hartman, Clyde Kauffman, and Howard Bauman.

    Brubacher, Susanna B., daughter of Cyrus and Elizabeth (Brubacher) Eby, was born in Waterloo, Ont., Sept. 10, 1895; died at Northern Michigan Hospitals, Inc., Petoskey, Mich., Feb. 10, 1978; aged 82 y. On May 31, 1917, she was married to Harvey Brubacher, who died in July l966. Surviving are 3 sons (Emmanuel, Jesse, and Harvey), 6 daughters (Alma, Leona Martin, Magdalena - Mrs. Isaac Salah, Grace - Mrs. Elmer Eberly, Mary, and Martha), 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers (Israel and William Eby), 2 sisters (Amanda - Mrs. Manassah Kulp and Lydia Ann - Mrs. Clayton Kilmer), and one stepbrother (Mahlon Martin). She was preceded in death by one brother (Jeremiah) and one daughter (Elizabeth). She was a member of the Maple River Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Stone Funeral Home in charge of Bruce W. Lyndaker and Homer E. Yutzy; interment in the Mennonite Cemetery, Brutus, Mich.
