    Funeral of Leander Klippert

    The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon of the late Leander Klippert, at 3 o'clock. Short services were held at the house, conducted by Rev. E. Burn, pastor of Emanuel Evangelical Church.

    The deceased was born in Berlin, Dec. 17th, 1860, and died in Chicago, Ill., on Tuesday last, age 52 years, 7 months and 18 days. He leaves mourn his demise, an aged father, loving wife and daughter, three brothers and one sister.

    DIED IN CHICAGO.

    Lander C. Klippert died at Chicago, Monday, August 4th, aged 52 years. The funeral from the father's residence Thursday Aug. 7 at clock to Mt. Hope Cemetery. He leaves a wife and daughter, father, 3 brothers and one sister.

    Business:
    They made fine furniture and at the time the building measured 48 ft. by 65 ft., three storeys high, employing 40 hands with 5 travellers on the road to handle their products. Later the building was used in 1905 as the Walker Bin & Store Fixture Co, later the Jones Brothers of Canada Limited in 1928, by 1933 the building was vacant. In 1934 it became the Kennedy Furniture Co., again vacant in 1935-1936, The Murawsky Furniture Co. used the building starting in 1937 and later the building was used as plant No 4 of the Dominion Electrome Co.
