    WELLESLEY, June 24 - A former resident of Wellesley, Peter Seyler, 85, died suddenly yesterday at the home of his son-in-law, Milton Heintz, on the Bamberg Road. Mr. Seyler was born on March 2, 1854, in Wilmot Township. He was a retired farmer and attended St. Paul's Canada Lutheran church, Wellesley. His wife predeceased him last January.

    Surviving are two sons, Henry of Tavistock and Daniel of Bamberg, two daughters, Mrs. Milton Heintz and Miss Anna Seyler, both of near Bamberg, one brother, David Seyler of Baden and two sisters, Mrs. Conrad Quehl and Mrs. John Heipel of Wellesley.

    Private funeral service will be held at the home of Mr. Heintz on Tuesday at 2 pm followed by public services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, at 2: 30 pm. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery with Rev. W. Nolting officiating. Remains will rest at the M. R. Futher Funeral Home until Sunday at 2 pm when they will be removed to the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Heintz.

    Baden-Miss Anna Seyler, 76, of Baden died Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Miss Seyler, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Seyler was born in North Easthope Township but lived most of her life in Baden. For the past eight years she was a seamstress of Walper Hotel, Kitchener. Miss Seyler was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Surviving are two brothers, Daniel Wellesley Township, Henry, South Easthope one sister, Mrs Milton (Louise) Heinz, Baden. The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home Wellesley until Saturday at 1: 30 p.m. when removal will be made to St. Mark's for the service at 3 p.m. Rev. Walter Becker will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley.

    SEYLER, Laverne Henry 1930 - 2012 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Laverne on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at St. Mary's General Hospital, age 81. Beloved husband of Evelyn Seyler (nee Gingrich). Dear father of Steven Seyler (Marilyn) and Trevor Seyler all of Kitchener. Will be remembered by his sisters Idella Hertzberger and Sally Jantzi, brother Lorne Seyler (Frances) and sister-in-law Bea Seyler. Predeceased by his parents Olivia and Daniel Seyler, brothers Milton, Elmer, Allan, Oliver and Norman; brothers-in-law James Hertzberger and Roy Jantzi; sisters-in-law Doris, Betty, Helen and Pat Seyler; in infancy sister Irene and brother Gordon. Laverne's family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home will follow. Spring interment at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley Township. The family would like to thank Grand River Hospital ICU, St. Mary's Hospital ICU and St. Mary's Hospital Floor 6 Respiratory Unit for their exceptional care and compassion for Laverne over his last 10 weeks.     JANTZI, Dave It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave Jantzi, who went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2007. Dave is predeceased by his first wife Joanne Marie (Schick) Jantzi, his father Roy, and his sister Debbie. Dave is survived by his wife Kathryn Jo-Ann Jantzi, his children Jason (Roxanne), Leanna, Thaddeus (Jennifer) and Rebecca. He is also survived by his mom Selina (Sally), brother John (Renee) and nephews Matthew and Joshua. Dave will be greatly missed by many friends. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Dave joined the army at age 20 and met his first wife while stationed in Germany. They married in 1967 and moved to B.C. in 1968 where Dave joined Dare Foods and was employed by them for about 15 years. After leaving Dare, Dave continued his career in accounting and computing until retirement. Dave was always happy to drop whatever he was doing to lend a helping hand. He had a selfless and loving heart that touched many. The memorial service to celebrate Dave's life, will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, in Ladysmith at the corner of Third and Buller, on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ladysmith Food Bank or St. John Anglican Church, which was near and dear to Dave's heart. 383522

    Deborah Anne Jantzi

    Deborah Anne Jantzi of 54 Askin Place, Kitchener, died Thursday at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital at the age of 19.

    Miss Jantzi was born in Stratford Aug. 6, 1950. She was a daughter of Roy Jantzi and the former Sally Seyler. She lived in Kitchener for nine years and formerly lived in Tavistock. She attended Tavistock public school and Eastwood collegiate.

    A member of Hope Lutheran Church, Miss Jantzi was formerly a member of the Sunday school staff. She was employed in the post office at Goudies department store.

    Besides her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Mrs Olive Seyler of Kitchener, and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ida Jantzi of Baden; two brothers, David of Vancouver and John of Kitchener.

    Funeral service was held at Hope Church on Saturday, Rev. K.L. Zorn, pastor, and Rev. Alvin Stanfel, former pastor, officiating.
