BOND, MARGARET BERTHA (Nee Evans)

At the Guelph General Hospital, on Wednesday, December 23, 1953, after a lingering illness. Widow of Christopher Bond (June 29, 1951). She had been ailing for some years. Mother of Elizabeth (Mrs. Robert Farquhar) of 83 Dunham Ave. in Kitchener; Edwin and Fred of R. R. #2, Hespeler. Also survived by five brothers, Arthur Evans of Guelph; Percy and Robert Evans of Puslinch Township; Kenneth of Windsor; George of Beatty, SK; and one sister, Mrs. Ira Sherk of Port Huron, Michigan. She was a native of Puslinch Township, born on Oct. 28, 1886, daughter of the late Alfred Evans and Margaret Porter. She was married on June 6, 1911. She was a member of the Hespeler United Church and had been prominently identified with the Puslinch Women's Institute. Her husband predeceased her over two years ago. The funeral took place at the Stager Funeral Home in Hespeler on Sat. , Dec. 26 at 3. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.
