    GORDIER, ADA GERTRUDE

    At the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Gordier, R. R. #2, St. George, on Wednesday, April 10, 1940, in her 25th year. She was born in Puslinch Township and was a resident of that district for several years. She had been in ill health for four months. She was a member of Hespeler United Church. Surviving are her parents; eight brothers, Roy of Galt (or Milton -differing reports); Perry of Port Huron; Fred and Louis of Detroit; Russell of Guelph; Milton and Leonard of Galt; Gordon of Dundas; three sisters, Mrs. William Myers of Hamilton; Mrs. Hugh Frew of Preston; and Mrs. John Brethauer of Branchton. The memorial service, on Sat., Apr. 12 at 2 from the Harold Gray Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew's St. in Galt, was conducted by Rev. J. J. Lowe of Hespeler, assisted by Rev. J. C. Kleinstauber of Galt. Mrs. George Henry sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and Mrs. Spittal sang "He was Nailed to the Cross for Me". Pallbearers: Roy, Milton, Leonard, Perry, Louis, Fred, Russell and Gordon Gordier, all brothers of Miss Gordier. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.
