    EBY. - In Wellesley township, Waterloo Co., Ont., Sister Sarah G. Honsberger, beloved wife of Bro. Henry B. Eby, died on Jan. 7, 1891, aged 32 years, 7 months and 22 days. Buried at Eby's Church, Berlin, on the 9th, where a large number of relatives and friends had assembled to sympathize with the bereaved brother and his family. She has left a bright hope that death was her eternal gain. May the good Lord comfort the brother. Funeral services by Daniel Wismer, from 2 Corn. 5: 1 and Noah Stauffer, from Luke 20: 36

    Bowman, Laura, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Eby, was born in Linwood, Ont., 1884; died at Fairview Mennonite Home, Preston, Ont., July 1, 1973; aged 89 y. She was married to Edwin S. Bowman, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sisters (Florence and Ella). She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 4, in charge of Robert N. Johnson; interment in church cemetery.

    Eby, Oliver, son of Henry B. and Sarah (Honsburger) Eby, was born Oct. 22, 1889, in Wellesley Twp., Waterloo Co., Ont.; died at his daughter's home, Kelowna, B. C., May 9, 1957; aged 67 y. 6 m. 17 d. On Dec. 10, 1915, he married Amelia Ulmer, who preceded him Oct. 7, 1934. Two children also preceded him. Surviving are 2 daughters (Edna-Mrs. Larry Green, Kelowna; Gladys, Regina, Sask), and 2 sons (Leo, Morse, Sask. And William, Guernsey, Sask.), 9 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers (Mrs. Edwin Bowman, a full sister, the following half sisters and brothers, Mrs. Gordon Weber, Florence Eby, both of Kitchener; Ella Eby, St. Catharines; Irvin and Edwin, kitcheners). In 1911 he went to the Guernsey district in Saskatchewan, in 1943 to Saskatoon, and in 1950 to British Columbia. For a number of years he held membership at the Sharon Mennonite Church, and although that fellowship was broken, we are glad to say that toward the close of his life, his attention was again drawn to the Word of God. Funeral services were held at the Sharon Church in charge of Stanley D. Shantz.
