    WOOLNER, Doreen Mae (nee Rosenberger) - Peacefully, on July 28, 2009, in Kitchener, Ontario, at St. Mary's Hospital, in her 73rd year, after a sudden illness. Beloved wife of the late, Walter Woolner (2002). Loving and caring mother to four daughters Brenda, Barbara, Carolyn (Randy Wilson) and Christine. Proud grandmother of Becca and Izaak Wilson who will miss Grandma's cookies and Kyle Woolner-Pratt. Doreen was born on April 10, 1936 and is survived by her twin sister, Doris (Tony) Charrette; and is predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Bechtel. Doreen was a faithful member of the Breslau Evangelical Missionary Church and volunteered serving tea at Fairview Mennonite Home for many years. And on Saturday mornings she would be at the MCC Thrift store on Lancaster Street. To celebrate Doreen's homecoming visitation will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener on Friday July 31, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Breslau Missionary Evangelical Church, 102 Woolwich Street, Breslau at 11 a.m. on Saturday August 1, 2009. Casket will be open at 10:30 a.m. for viewing. Interment at the Breslau Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), cards available at the funeral home. The family would like to express our forever gratitude to the amazing and compassionate care and love expressed to our Mom by all the 7th floor nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital.
