    David Wilhelm

    WELLESLEY, March 26- David Wilhelm, 90, retired farmer, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Beaver, R.R. 1, Gadshill..

    He had been in failing health for several months.

    Born in Wilmot Township, Oct. 14, 1860, he was the son of the late Peter Wilhelm and his wife, the former Barbara Wittig.

    Mr. Wilhelm was an adherent of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Lisbon.

    His wife, the former Catherine Warning, predeceased him in 1938.

    He is survived by two daughters (Leah), Mrs. Beaver; Mrs. Peter (Luella) Jacob of Brunner. One brother, Moses of North Easthope, and one sister, Mrs. John D. Schmidt of Tavistock, also survive him.

    He also leaves 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.

    The funeral will be public Wednesday from the residence of his daughter at 2 p.m., followed by services at the Lisbon Evangelical United Brethren Church. Rev. Bruce Amy will conduct the services. Burial will take place at Lis- bon U.B. Cemetery.

    She was born in North Easthope Township the former Leah Wilhelm a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Wilhelm.

    She was a member of Lisbon United Church and a life member of Hampstead Women's Institute.

    Her husband died in 1920.

    Surviving are one son. Wellington. R.R.l. Gadshill; two daughters. Mrs W.J. (Belle) Ratz. Woodstock; Mrs. Orville (Verna) Schmidt. R.R.l. Gadshill; one sister Mrs. Peter (Luella) Jacobs. Poole: five grafchildren. two great-grandchildren.

    The service was held Monday afternoon at Lisbon United Church Burial followed in the church cemetery.

    HAMPSTEAD - Mrs. Beaver, of RR 1, Gadshill, died today at home after a lengthy illness. She was 80.

    The former Leah Wilhelm. she was born in North Easthope Townhip, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Wilhem. She was a member of Lisbon United Church and a life member of the Hampstead Women's Institute.

    She was predeceased by her husband in 1933.

    Survivors include a son Wellington, of Gadshill: two daughters, Mrs. W. J. (Bella) Ratz of Woodstock, Mrs. Orval (Vera) Schmidt, of Gadshill; a sister. Mrs. Peter (Luella) Jacobs, of Poole: five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter and a sister.

    The body will be at the Futher Brothers Funeral Home in Wellesley afternoon on Sunday until noon on Monday when removal will be made to Lisbon United Church for service at 2:30p.m. Rev. J. W. Siebert will officiate. Burial will be in Lisbon United cemetery.
