    Notes:

    Isaiah M.E. Martin, 74, of RR 1, St. Clements, died Aug. 4 at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian P. Martin. Surviving are his wife, the former Persida Eby; three sons, Edwin of Kitchener, Christian of RR 1, St. Clements, and Isaiah of RR 1, Bamberg; three daughters, Mrs. Amos (Amanda) Bauman of RR 3, Wallenstein, Mrs. Sydney (Hanna) Bearinger of RR 1, Wallenstein, and Mrs. Aaron (Salome) Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein; two brothers, John of RR 1, St. Clements, and Tobias of RR 4, Elmira; 19 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, one brother and two sisters. Service was at the home of Christian E. Martin Saturday Aug. 6. A further service was held at the Conestogo Mennonite meeting house. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    MARTIN, Isaiah E. Passed away at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the age of 82 years. Isaiah Martin was the beloved husband of Maryann (Martin) Martin of Floradale. Remembered by his sister-in-law Almeda (Mrs. Christian) Martin and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Isaiah and Persida (Eby) Martin, siblings Amanda and Amos Bauman, Edwin and Margaret Martin, Hannah and Sidney Bearinger, Salome and Aaron Martin, Melinda in infancy, and Christian Martin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira.
