Passed away at her home in Guelph on Monday, July 20, 2009. Anne Van de Ven, in her 86th year, was the beloved wife of John Van de Ven of Guelph.

She was the loving mother of Patricia and her husband Garry Tomlinson of Breslau, and Carol Van de Ven and her partner Al Porter of Montreal, Quebec.

Anne was the proud grandmother of Jamie, April, and Gordie. She was the dear sister of Jean Van de Ven Rooyakkers of Guelph, and Pieta, and Jo both of Holland.

Predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Vigil for Anne was held on July 23, 2009 at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St., N., Guelph.

A Funeral Mass occurred at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.

Interment St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
