Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Madeleine for over 57 years. Loving father of Jerome, John (predeceased), Carmen (predeceased), David, Sara, Tom and Stephen. Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Carol Beer, Judy Cameron, David Karavitz and the late Louis Karavitz.
Tom's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1250 Strasburg Rd., Kitchener. HOUSE, Carmen Carmen Marie House, of Arthur, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in her 54th year. Loving mother of Annalee Tasse, Jesse House and his friend Tiffani Grenfell, and Joelle House. Cherished grandmother of Quinton, Luke, Kira, Violet, Iziah, T.J., Markus, and Chanel. Dear daughter of Tom and Madeleine House. Dear sister of Jerome House, David House, Sara House and her husband Jay, Tom House Jr., and Stephen House and his wife Michelle. Also fondly remembered by David Hogg, Tanya Rauch, and by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother John House. A funeral service celebrating Carmen's life will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Saturday, November 3rd at 1:00 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a trust fund for her grandson Luke House (information will be available from the Funeral Home).
