    BURKHART, James Passed away suddenly in Cookstown, ON on December 10, 2018 at the age of 67. Survived by son Chad (Susan), brothers Tom (Lavenia) and Dave, nieces Crystal (Peter), Jennifer, Kathleen (John), and Melissa (Trevor), and also fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by father Mahlon, mother Peggy, and brother Dale. In keeping with James' wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment is scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 2018. Condolences for the family and donations to The Rotary Foundation or charity of choice may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street S.

Sadly missed by his wife, Cheryl; mother, Peggy Burkhart; brothers, Jim, Tom (Lavenia) and Dave Burkhart; by nephew Chad; and nieces, Jennifer, Kathleen, Melissa and Crystal. Also fondly remembered by many aunts and uncles. In keeping with Dale's wishes cremation will take place. Condolences for the family and donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes
