MRS. HAROLD BURKE

PRESTON, April 23— The death occurred at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon of Maude Hodgson, 45, wife of Harold Burke, Preston, after a serious illness of three days. Born in Hespeler, Mrs. Burke resided there and in Beaverdale until coming to Preston 22 years ago, living here since that time. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are her husband; three daughters. Mrs. Harry Westgate, Hespeler, Mrs. Annie Watson, Preston. and Miss Ethel O'Krafka, Hamilton, four sisters, Mrs. John Chester. Hespeler. Mrs. Vardon Black. Spokane, Wash. Mrs, Percy Eaton, and Mrs. Ernest Dixon, Detroit: two brothers. John of Kitchener. and William of Preston. Two grandchildren also survive. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday at 3: 30. interment will be In the Preston Cemetery.
