    Notes:

    Erhard Strenzke passed away on June 21st, 2022 at St Mary's Hospital at the age of 86.

    He was born and went to school in Germany with early training in horticulture and further studied and practiced creative engineering, mechanical drafting and technical design. He had a special enthusiasm for plants and animals. Erhard had many recreational interests including tennis, skiing, soccer, hunting, hiking, travelling and others. Most importantly he very much enjoyed sharing all of these loves in life with family and friends.

    Erhard was a member of St Peters Lutheran Church. He leaves his loving and giving wife Helga (nee Harre) and 2 loving daughters Claudia (Martin) Dault and Martina (Jeff) Vandelannoote . He was the dear brother of Siegfried (Lydia) Strenzke, Ruth Grisebach, Erika Guenther, Hans (Evi) Strenzke and (Heidi Strenzke), and was a much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was sadly predeceased by his younger sister Dieta Kilper, youngest brother Botho Strenzke and brothers-in-law Detlev and Manfred.

    Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank of Waterloo as expressions of sympathy.

    Dieta Marga "Dieta" Kilper

    It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our loving aunt, sister and friend Dieta, at the age of 79, in her home with family by her side.

    She leaves behind brothers Siegfried (Lydia) Strenzke, Hans (Evi) Strenzke and Erhard (Helga) Strenzke and sisters Ruth Grisebach and Erika Guenther. She was predeceased by her youngest brother Botho (Heidi) Strenzke. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, especially those who enjoyed her fabulous cooking.

    Many thanks to the caring staff of the CCAC, and a very special thanks to her best friend and cousin Renate Neumann, who cared for her so lovingly at the end.

    A graveside service for family and her closest friends will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, 243 Weber St. E., Kitchener on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11 a.m.

    JULY 26, 1939 \endash FEBRUARY 17, 2016


    The family announces the sudden passing of Botho on February 17, 2016 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, age 76 years.
    Beloved husband of Heidi and dear father of Mark (Lesley Robins) and Derek (Catherine Friesen). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kai, Evan and Drew.

    Dear Brother of Siegfried (Lydia), Hans (Evi), Erhard (Helga), Erika, Ruth, and Dieta. Survived also by numerous nieces and nephews.

    Mr. Strenzke's family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Monday February 22, 2016 from 2:00pm until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00pm.
