    At the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, Cambridge, Friday, August 16, 1974, Laura Jennie Salt of the Eventide Home, Galt, Cambridge; beloved wife of the late Arthur Underhill; dear mother of Arthur of Kitchener, Ernest of Preston, Peggy (Mrs. Fred Budd) and Lila (Mrs. David Norwood) of Preston, Cambridge, in her 93rd year; Mrs. Underhill was born in Smethwick, Eng. and came to Preston in 1912, a member of St. John's Anglican Church and a charter member of the Daughters of England; predeceased by her husband, Arthur Underhill in 1962; survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston, Cambridge until noon Monday, August 19, then to St. John's Anglican Church for funeral service, at 2 p.m. Rev. A. H. Skirving officiating. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.

    UNDERHILL, Ernest C.

    Of 1359 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Friday, Aug. 14, 1987, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Jean Knox; dear father of James and his wife Alicia of Cambridge, Jon and his wife Debbie of Waterloo and Janet and her husband Gordon McPherson of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Marc, Christopher, Katie and Tim Underhill and Susan and Robert McPherson and two sisters, Peggy (Mrs. Fred Budd) and Lila (Mrs. David Norwood), both of Cambridge. Predeceased by one brother, Arthur of Kitchener. Mr. Underhill was born in Smethwick, England and came to Cambridge, 75 years ago. He was a retired employee of Brewers Retail Stores, having worked for 40 years, in the Kitchener district. A member of St: John's Anglican Church and a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas with the 10th Field Ambulance Corps. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted at St. John's Anglican Church at 11: 30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 1987. Interment Parklawn cemetery.

    BUDD, Peter Andrew - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Budd. Peter was the Landscaping and Maintenance Chief at Emerald Lake where he was much loved by all who knew him. He will be remembered with love by his dear friend Kathy Pool with whom he shared his last five years, his Dad Fred Budd and step-mother Grace. Loving father of Kelly Drake and husband Tom of Cambridge and Stacey Williams and husband Tom of Callander. Dear brother of Nancy Yzerman and husband Harry of Brantford, Jody Budd and wife Mary of Ayr, Lynn Budd of Cambridge, Rick Budd and wife Doris of Edmonton, Catherine Torrance and husband Paul and Michael Budd and wife Peggy, all of Kelowna, B.C. and Virginia Oien and husband Per of Norway. Beloved grandfather of MacKenna and Nicholas Drake, and Bradley and Olyvia Williams. He was also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

    A Memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday, December 13, 20045 at 11 am with Canon David Bowyer officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. There will be a period of visitation and reception following the service. Arrangements entrusted to Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge.
