    MRS. CHARLES HAMEL

    Mrs. Charles Hamel, nee Lovin a Detweiler, 81, died yesterday at her home, 27 Young street, Waterloo, following a brief illness. She was born on Dec. 13, 1859, a daughter of the late Benjamin Detweiler and Elizabeth Kennedy of Kitchener. Mrs. Hamel was a member of the Bethany Mennonite church for 65 years. Her husband predeceased her 19 years ago. Funeral service will be held from the residence on Saturday at 2 p.m. to the Bethany Mennonite church at 2.30 p.m., thence to First Mennonite cemetery. Rev. C. N. Good will officiate. Remains are at the home.
