    At Freeport Hospital, Jan. 31, 1977, Jean Wells, formerly of 1270 Duke St., Cambridge (Preston), in her 89th year. Dear sister of H. A. Sandy McKeracher of London, Ont , and J. Matthew McKeracher of Cambridge. Mrs. Wells was born in Puslinch Township and had been a Cambridge (Preston) resident, for the past 75 years. Had been employed at Savage Shoes (1970) Limited until her retirement; was a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd , Cambridge (Preston), for funeral service, Thursday, Feb. 3, 1977, at 2 p.m. Interment in Preston cemetery.
