    BAUMAN, Evelyn (Bowman)-Passed away, peacefully, to be with her precious Lord, on Sunday, July 26, 1998, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 85th year. Daughter of the late Levi and Elizabeth (Neuert) Bowman.

    A loving Mother of four sons, Clare and Janet of Cambridge, Kenneth and Joanne of Cottam, David and Maureen of Golden Lake and James and Margaret of St. Jacobs. A dear Grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A special friend to sister, Margaret (Mrs. Harold Korell) of Waterloo. Also surviving are her brother and sisters-in-law, Earl and Ruby Bauman and Ruby Bauman, all of Elmira.

    Her strength through the years lay in Jesus for she was predeceased by her husband, Walter Bauman, on August 12, 1943. Also predeceased by one grandson, six brothers and four sisters.

    Her life was her witness-her smile, her laugh, her visits, her prayers, and yes-her tears. She was "Ma Bauman" to hundreds of students at the Elmira District High School for 25 years.

    Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home in Elmira on Tuesday, July 28 1998 (today) between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. There will be a private family service in the chapel of the funeral home. The family welcomes friends and acquaintances to a Celebration of Her Life at Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs on Wednesday, July 29, 1998 at 3 p.m. Rev. Brian Robinson officiating.

    REV. KEN BAUMAN 1938 - 2007 Passed away peacefully, following a courageous struggle with Myelofibrosis, on February 7, 2007, at St. Mary's General Hospital, at the age of 69, to be with his Lord and Saviour. Beloved husband of Joanne (Jacob) for 43 years; loving father of Heather Marchand and her husband Christopher of Otterburne, Manitoba, and Craig Bauman and his wife Leilani of Wallenstein; loved grandpa of Justin and Brianna Marchand, and Elisabeth, Katharina and Ionela Bauman; and dear brother of Clare and his wife Janet of New Hamburg, David and his wife Maureen of Lake Dore, and James and his wife Margaret of St. Jacobs. He will also be missed by Sandra Jacob of Kitchener and Harvey Heinmiller and his wife Janet of Wingham and many nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Walter (1943) and Evelyn (1998). Friends are invited to share their memories of Ken with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Ken's life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Henry Runhart officiating. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home following the service. Condolences for the family and donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, International Teams of Canada, or Country Hills Church, Kitchener, may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Ken, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
