KAPPES, Audrey Kathryn 1924 - 2014 Passed away at her home at Heritage House in St. Jacobs at the age of 89 years. Loving wife of the late Howard Kappes. Dear mother of Dawn McIntosh of Toronto, David Kappes of Waterloo and Valerie Wigboldus (Dale Jantzi) of New Hamburg. Loving Grandmother of Whitney Wigboldus (Chris), Cole Wigboldus, Brendan Jantzi, and Connor Jantzi. Audrey will be remembered by her special friend Audrey Lawrence. Predeceased by her parents Wilfrid and Mildred Hamacher and her brother Robert. A private family interment will be held on Friday. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service to celebrate Audrey's life will be held at First Baptist Church, 306 Erb Street W., Waterloo on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Snell officiating. Notes:

David passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waterloo on Monday, October 5, 2020, two weeks before his 63rd birthday.

David was predeceased by his father Howard Kappes on October 12, 2013 and his mother Audrey (nee Hamacher) Kappes on October 8, 2014.

David will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Valerie Wigboldus and husband Dale Jantzi and Dawna McIntosh, his aunt Audrey Lawrence, his niece and nephews Whitney Reis and her husband Chris, Cole Wigboldus and friend Kortnie, Brendan Jantzi and Connor Jantzi and partner Brooke, and his great-nephew Greysen.

David had a passion for classic cars, big trucks, motorcycles, and spending time at Daytona.

A special thank you is extended to the nurse team at CarePartners, especially Allison and Amanda, for their loving care of David.

To celebrate and honour David's life, a private family graveside service will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo.
