HOPKINS, Arlene Dorothy (nee Binnie) - Suddenly, at her home, Sunday, August 1, 2004 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman C. Hopkins (2000). Loved mother of David Hopkins and wife Jocelyne of Kitchener and Lois Beecraft and husband Lloyd of RR 2, Breslau. Loving grandmother of Laura Beecraft. Dear sister of Eunice (Barrie) Hopkins of Fergus, Douglas (Dona) Binnie of Kelowna, B.C. and Lloyd (Gloria) Binnie of Guelph. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Dorothy Binnie and step-mother Irene and her brother Larry. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday (2-4 and 7-9 p.m.). Funeral service will be held, in the funeral home chapel, Friday, August 6, 2004, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Cremation with inurnment of cremated remains Memory Gardens, Breslau. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 204-21 Surrey St.W., Guelph N1H 3R3 or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
