Mrs. Peter Swartzentruber

ELMIRA \endash Mrs. Peter Schwartzentruber, 79, of 7 Ernst St., Elmira, died Wednesday at the Elmira Private Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The former Magdalena Engel, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Engel. She was born July 16, 1882 in Poole.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Gordon; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schweitzer of Elmira and three grandchildren.

The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where a service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 1:30p.m. A further service will be conducted at St. John's Lutheran Church, Poole, at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev Frank Malinsky will officiate.
