    SNYDER, Melvin Melvin passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Forest Heights Long Term Care, Kitchener. He was born April 8, 1920, 92 years ago in Waterloo County. He was the son of the late Percy and Rachel (Rudy) Snyder. Beloved husband of the late Annabelle (Meyers) Snyder who predeceased him May 1, 2012. Sadly missed by his children Ron (Ferris) Snyder of B.C.; Murray (Rosemary) Snyder, Dale (Cathy) Snyder all of New Hamburg; Pat (Robert) Sider of Atwood, Diana (Ron) Diamond of Plattsville; Brenda (Fin) MacLennan, Karen (Craig) Grant, Carl (Donna) Snyder, Marian Snyder, Roy Snyder and Terry Snyder all of Kitchener. Loving grandfather of 22 grand-children and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Helen Grenzabach of Kitchener, Ralph Snyder and friend Dori of California; Lorne Snyder and friend Bonnie of Alberta; Ken and Sharyn Snyder of British Columbia. Missed by brother-in-law Lorne and Evelyn Lichti of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law Ann Snyder of Hawkesville; and Jackie Snyder of Baden. Melvin was pre-deceased by daughter and son-in-law Linda (James) Dowdall, grand-daughter Dineen Snyder, brothers Stan Snyder, Lincoln Snyder, sister Jean Lichti and brother-in-law Carl Grenzabach. Melvin was a member of Mannheim Mennonite Church, Mannheim. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Melvin's life will take place on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Mannheim Mennonite Church with Pastor Irvin Weins officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mennonite Central Committee.     GRENZEBACH, Helen May (nee Snyder) Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Freeport Health Centre, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Carl. Cherished mom of Lisa and her husband Robert Wayne Collard. Helen will be missed by her brothers Ralph Snyder (Dori), Lorne Snyder and Ken Snyder (Sharyn); sisters-in-law Jackie Snyder and Ann Snyder and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, siblings Melvin Snyder (Annabelle), Lincoln Snyder, Jeanne (Lorne) Lichty, Stanley Snyder and by her sister-in-law Ruth Snyder. Helen was an avid crafter, participated in many crafting groups and volunteered her time to different organizations. Helen's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 19th at 1 p.m. followed by a reception. Memorial donations to the Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated and may be placed through the funeral home.

    SNYDER, Stanley Edmund - Of 90 Charlotta St., Baden, on Tuesday, June 25, 1985, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Stanley Snyder, aged 54 years.

    He was a member of the Mannheim Mennonite Church and enjoyed his employment as a bulldozer operator at E & E Seegmiller Construction Limited for 28 years.

    Beloved son of Percy Snyder of Baden and the late Rachel Rudy, who predeceased him in 1984. Lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Jacky Affeldt, whom he married May 29, 1954; dear father of John of Baden, Jo-Anne of Kitchener, David and his wife Esther of Elmira, Brian of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his brothers, Melvin and his wife Annabelle of Erbsville, Lincoln and his wife Ann of Hawksville, Ralph and his wife Ruth of Burbank, Calif., Lorne and his wife Doris of Calgary, Alta., and Kenneth of Vancouver, B.C.; his sisters, Helen and her husband Carl Grenzebach of Kitchener, Jeanne and her husband Lorne Lichty of Mercersburg, Penn.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 p.m. this evening, until Friday, June 28, 1985 at noon, when transfer will be made to the Mannheim Mennonite Church, for the service at 2 o'clock with Rev. James Reusser officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the building fund of Mannheim Mennonite Church.
